The purpose of this blog is for me to have a way to process and journal what the Lord speaks at church, in cell, and to just post occasional ramblings.

You Know You're Starting a New Habit When...
You know you are starting something new when....after you return from an hour of "working out", your 8 year-old tells you that you don't look like a "workout person". Just you wait, buddy. I will look like one yet! =o)
Ahhhh, yes. The honesty of children. My daughter once told me that she liked sitting next to me better than Dad. She explained, "Dad is hard like steel, and you're squishy like a teddy bear!"
Keep it up, they will soon put your picture in the dictionary for the definition of "workout" :o)
I'm trying to prove some nay-sayers around me wrong as well. I've actually intentionally not seen my parents in 2 weeks in order to hopefully prove my point.
You inspired me... I'm looking into Shag Lessons. I might do them by myself, but I'm eager to try something new to reward myself for my mere 10 lbs loss :o)
Hi Ruth, Good to hear from you. We are all doing good, other than Megan's slight cold. We are just very busy with daycare kids, our own kids' activities, housework, a couple bible studies, exercising, AND a career change starting in a few weeks. I've been busy lining things up for that. Love and Hugs, Lori

I never know what will pop out of my 6 year-old's mouth - yikes!
Keep up the good work. It feels good to work out, doesn't it? I'm always energized, a little sore afterwards, but energized just the same :)

Are you sure we don't share the same child? Sounds exactly like what my 7 yr.old might say. I need to be working out too!
