I was over at Karen's blog and saw her wonderful plans for today. Her day sounds awesome. I then started telling her about my day, and I had to laugh as my "to do" list kept growing. So here are my Saturday plans:

10:30 haircut appointment for the boys
grocery shopping
housecleaning (at least the bathrooms cuz they are disgusting)
get the laundry started (this is an all weekend event)
chauffeur Beth around
grading papers
make chicken noodle soup IF I can fit it in (that takes awhile, but boy is it good!)
And then I realized the scary part. I am looking forward to today because this is a CALM Saturday. Yow!! I wonder if Karen will trade Saturdays with me??
I guess I'd better go get started... I hope everybody has a blessed weekend!

I checked Karen's to do list out, sounds pretty nice. There's always "to do lists", aren't there? Thanks for stopping by Adventurous Living today.

P.S. That chicken soup sounds yummy... I could use some with my cold right now :)

I had to laugh when you said your day sounded relatively calm! I'd say you're a busy gal today! In reality, the first two "plans" didn't quite make it as my sweetie is supposed to rest as much as possible, and he didn't get up early with me. ;0) I did enjoy my early coffee all by myself, though.
Have a great week-end, Ruth!

Hope you got around to all those tasks on your 'to do' :o) I know my list seems never-ending, and I don't even have kids yet! yikes!

Have a great weekend Ruth! (and try to take it easy in between loads of laundry)

I, too, saw Karen's list and thought mine should look like hers. Trust me, it ended up much more like yours. Ah, such is life!

By the way, I love the sign on your daughter's door! That's great!
