Phew! What a day!

I'm exhausted. My day started at 5 a.m. and didn't get home until 9 p.m. Why? I am now the thankful new owner of a 2006 Toyota Sienna. The mechanic reported dismal news on our old van, so we traded it in for the parts. I must admit, paying a car note again wants to cause me to breathe into a paper bag, but it is nice to have a trustworthy and NICE vehicle. It really is a dream come true for me. Not only is it a Toyota, but it has a CD player AND a DVD player for the kids. I never, ever expected to be able to have a DVD player in the car. I've dreamed about that since they came out. The salesman turned out to be a guy we go to church with, and I really feel we got a great deal. I'll post a picture in the next few days. For now, I'm going to bed....after I finish breathing in my paper bag. =o)

Congratulations on your vehicle. You might remember the same thing happened to us in July, while on vacation with the grands and our car gave up the ghost in Kansas City!!! We were forced to purchase a new HHR Chevy on the spot. Like you, we hated the thought of a car payment but are really enjoying our car and the better gas mileage. Some times we have to be forced to jump out there.

Thanks for your sweet comment and yes the victories are OH SO SWEET!!
P.S. I'm another one who is really not prepared entirely for Christmas this year!!! Always was before.

Congratulations! I love me a Toyota! We have had a Camry Wagon, a Camry Sedan,a nd an Avalon. Not a bad one in the bunch. We currently do not have a Toyota. But I'm sure there is probably one sometime in my future. We had a Sienna rental when we flew to Texas a few years ago. It was a great van! I know you will enjoy driving it!
